Quarry-Megrelian dumplings with cheese

Ingredients🌶

Flour 0.5 kg

Egg 1 piece

Water 1 cup

Imeretian cheese 0.5 kg

Butter 50 g

Salt

Preparation 👩🍳

Knead a steep dough from flour, eggs and water🙌

We leave it for 30 minutes⏱

Grate the cheese🧀

We make walnut-sized balls out of it🌀

Take the dough, pinch off the pieces from it, roll out into circles 2 mm thick🍥

Put the cheese inside and pinch the edges (preferably with a fork)🥟

Cook several pieces in salted water for 5 minutes⏰

Serve the quarry with butter, matzoni or sour cream🍚
