Traditional Georgian delicacy KADA , light and delicious puff pastry

Ingredients 👩🍳️

For the test

Flour 3 cups

Egg 1 piece

Butter 200 g

Matzoni (or kefir) 1 cup

Slaked soda

Salt

For the filling

Walnuts 1.5 cups

Flour 1.5 cups

Butter 100 g

Sugar 1 cup

Preparation 👩🍳️

Three butter on a grater or finely chop, add flour, a pinch of salt, egg, matzoni and knead the dough. Wrap the dough in a film and put it in the cold for 1 hour ❄

Making the filling👌

Beat the soft butter with sugar and salt

Add the flour and stir well.

We form our cookies 😍 roll out the dough thinly, sprinkle with filling and finely ground nuts 🌰Roll into a roll and cut into pieces 3-4 cm wide. Spread on a baking sheet , grease the cookies with milk or egg and bake at 180 degrees until ready ⏱
